Michael Moore has become a GM-sized conspiracy theory factory.

The fake-umentary maker recently suggested that Democrat donor Michael Eisner was conspiring with the Bush brothers to censor his latest film, "Fahrenheit 9/11."

In the movie, which recently took the Palme d'Or at Cannes, Moore presents a conspiracy theory that involves Osama bin Laden, al-Qaida, the Saudis and the Bush administration. He bases the crackpot thesis on the news reports that, in the days after 9/11, about 140 Saudis were airlifted back home, two dozen of whom were members of the bin Laden family.

Lost in Moore's mental machinations were the facts that Osama was estranged from his elephant-sized family and had had his Saudi citizenship revoked two decades ago.

If he's looking for real conspiracy fodder, Moore might try checking out some of the new folks that Miramax Films has hired to promote his flick. Howard Wolfson is the ex-campaign press secretary for Sen. Hillary Clinton. Michael Feldman is an adviser from Al Gore's 2000 presidential campaign. Mark Fabiani and Chris Lehane are former Clinton White House advisers.

And then there's the Miramax spokesman who's been talking to the press about the story. He's Matthew Hiltzik, and he worked on Hillary's U.S. Senate campaign.

Liberals claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war.
They complain about his prosecution of it.
One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst president in U.S history.

Let's clear up one point: President Bush didn't start the war on terror.
Try to remember, it was started by terrorists BEFORE 9/11.
Let's look at the "worst" president and mismanagement claims.

FDR led us into World War II.
Germany never attacked us: Japan did.
From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost,
an average of 112,500 per year.

Truman finished that war and started one in Korea.
North Korea never attacked us.
From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost,
an average of 18,333 per year.

John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.
Vietnam never attacked us.
Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire.
From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost,
an average of 5,800 per year.

Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.
Bosnia never attacked us.
He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing.
Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
Over 2,900 lives lost on 9/11.

In the two years since terrorists attacked us,
President Bush has liberated two countries,
rushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida,
put nuclear inspectors in Lybia, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot,
captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.
We lost 600 soldiers, an average of 300 a year
Bush did all this abroad while not allowing another terrorist attack at home.

Worst president in history?

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking, but...

It took less time to take Iraq
than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound.
That was a 51 day operation.

We've been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for less time

“Atrocities” in the War on Terror

The actions attributed to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi Tuesday should have afforded the liberals in our country an education as to what an atrocity really is. They also should have served as a chilling wake-up call. Zarqawi and his men beheaded an American hostage in Iraq by the name of Nicholas Berg. This “hostage” had people who loved him back here in the United States; family and friends. Berg went to Iraq to help rebuild that country. He wanted to make a difference for the Iraqi people. And from all accounts he was quite a guy.

Meanwhile, as film of Zarqawi and his henchmen holding Mr. Berg’s severed head up to the camera was streaming out of a militant Islamic website, Hillary Clinton, Edward Kennedy, Carl Levin and Robert Byrd sat pre-occupied with partisan politics, questioning Maj. Gen. Antonio Taguba about the “atrocities” Iraqi enemy combatants were subjected to by a very few American soldiers at the Abu Ghraib prison. The actions of the guards at Abu Ghraib pale in comparison to the barbarism inflicted by those at war with the United States, namely the murder, cremation and display of four American contractors in Fallujah earlier this year and now the murder by decapitation of Nicholas Berg. So much for the Geneva Convention.

Why are there no visuals of this book? Why can't this book be found in any bookstore? It surely doesn't have anything to do with the cover mocking the Marines who raised the flag at Iwo Jima. John Kerry fought in Vietnam. It couldn't be because someone doesn't want us to remember a time when John Kerry paid actors to claim they killed innocent civilians in Vietnam. John Kerry fought in Vietnam. It couldn't be because this book shows John Kerry's views of the American military when he isn't running for office? Don't ask questions. Just read and accept what the liberal elite want you to know. John Kerry fought in Vietnam. Bush didn't. Forget everything this traitor ever said about our country. The story he told was different from what his crewmen had to say about that night. According to Kerry, they had been engaged in a fire fight, receiving small arms fire from on shore. He said that his injury resulted from this enemy action.

Some of his crew confided that they did not receive any fire from shore, but that Kerry had fired a mortar round at close range to some rocks on shore. The crewman thought that the injury was caused by a fragment ricocheting from that mortar round when it struck the rocks.

That seemed to fit the injury which I treated.

What I saw was a small piece of metal sticking very superficially in the skin of Kerry's arm. The metal fragment measured about 1 cm. in length and was about 2 or 3 mm in diameter. It certainly did not look like a round from a rifle.

I simply removed the piece of metal by lifting it out of the skin with forceps. I doubt that it penetrated more than 3 or 4 mm. It did not require probing to find it, did not require any anesthesia to remove it, and did not require any sutures to close the wound.

The wound was covered with a bandaid.

Not [sic] other injuries were reported and I do not recall that there was any reported damage to the boat.

The New York Times reports that Disney has declined to distribute Michael Moore's upcoming film Fahrenheit 9/11 through its Miramax subsidiary.

Now, before the predictable conspiracy talk starts, the article states that "Miramax is free to seek another distributor in North America, although such a deal would force it to share profits and be a blow to Harvey Weinstein, a big donor to Democrats." In other words, the film will see the light of day, it just won't be Disney shareholders who assume the financial risk of distributing it.

WHY ARE THERE NUDE AND HOODED IRAQIS ON THE GOLF CHANNEL?

President Bush has granted interviews to Arab news outlets in an effort to temper rising fury over images of American troops abusing Iraqi prisoners.

It's about time that President Bush step up and address this. Forget the Arab news outlets - the AMERICAN MEDIA is in euphoric orgasm mode over the mistreatment of Iraqi 'soldiers' by a few of our wayward enlisted 'men' and that dike pointing and thumbs-up-ing. I'm tired of seeing this story parsed to the nth-detail. Get over it. It happened. It sucks. Move on. The military is perfectly capable of investigating it themselves. Sorry (Democrats in) Congress... no lengthy politicizing hearings necessary.

Let's be clear on this: these atrocities are unacceptable at very least. Court "martialing" hardly seems to be justice served. Second, several thoughts come to mind:

1) It's no surprise that the 'American' media is plastering their broadcasts around the clock with those ubiquitous images of nude, hooded men (looks like a Ted Kennedy/Robert Byrd Friday night party) - they can't pass up a chance to paint (all day long for several days) our military in a poor light... and throw in some standard Bush admin. bashing - while we're at war. Isn't this counter-productive to what we're (America) trying to accomplish on the Arab front? With the exception of CNN, who, ala Teehraza Heinz Kerry, and Peter Jennings, are not "American" outfits, but rather "INTERNATIONAL" entities, you'd at least HOPE the AMERICAN media outlets would realize that playing 24-hour coverage of images that infuriate the Arab street would be... oh, I don't know,... less than productive? God forbid I call them less than patriotic.

2) I don't remember the Arab outrage when burned American corpses were kicked down the street and then strung up on the bridge in Falujah by a mob of Iraqi jackals. The outrage was approximately as quiet as the condemnation Arabs leveled on the nineteen 9-11 murderers and bin Laden.

3) Democrats have been rather shrill in their outcry over the atrocious actions of a select few idiot soldiers. Rightly so, as there is no excuse for what happened... BUT, contrary to their rather transparent motives, this isn't George Bush's fault. Side note: neither is mad cow disease or the leaky faucet at the Kerry's Coloroda ski mansion. To be sure, these are the same Democrats that jumped to take credit for the lightening fast toppling of Hussein's regime by insisting it was accomplished WITH BILL CLINTON'S MILITARY. Maybe tomorrow I'll hear them chastise THEIR military for what they seem to be insinuating is widespread, run-of-the-mill torture practices... I won't hold my breath.

4) This a.m., Don Imus said on his MSNBC show that he thought the Iraqi prisoner standing on the box w/ the hood-and-electrical-wire-hookup was "pretty cool". That was right before he said he was waiting for Howard Fineman to call in and - "either way, we'll find a Jew to talk to". Thank God it wasn't Rush Limbaugh puking these two quotes out. I don't know if I could stand (another) week-long analysis by the media of how insensitive and racist that drug addict Limbaugh is.
