Why Kerry?
Dear Person Voting for Bush, or Person on the Fence,
The thing that I would like to know, for those people who are deciding on voting for Kerry is why they are voting for him. And in their answer, if they can even give one, someone will always resort to criticizing Bush.
Are you going to vote for Kerry because he went to Vietnam? Okay thats very honorable that he served in war, but too often does he use that as a political tool. Kerry constantly aggrandizes himself concerning his service in the military when his own colleagues during the war denounce his "trials and tribulations". He makes himself sound better than he actually was. Okay, so they say that he received 3 purple hearts. Did you know that one of them was self-inflicted? Not that he literally shot himself in the foot, but after falling down and getting scraped or whatnot, he asked to please be sent back. C'mon!
But if your second answer to why you're voting for him is because "Bush was wrong in going to war", "Bin-Ladan attacked us!" or "Bush went in for oil" you need to really consider your sources. To begin, the Arabs/Iraqis do not hate us because of Bush, as some like to say. This hatred is very deep-seated and arises out of jealousy of our nation. When Bush Sr. made the boo-boo of pulling out of Iraqi many years ago, when Saddam Hussein was in power, because he thought that the Iraqi people could defend and stand up for themselves, Saddam back-fired and killed 35,000 of his own people with chemicals, immediately after. He would hang the women upside down when they had their periods, so that it would drip all the way down themselves. He raped and murdered women and children. Thenwhile Clinton was in office there was a bomb in the garage of the WTC and a US embassy in Africa was blown up. Clinton let it slide though (typical democrat). It wasnt until after the whole Monica Lewinsky scandal that he decided to pay attention to what was going on, because he wanted to get the attention offf of him and the scandal. So once Bush Jr. got into office and after 9/11 he knew that we needed to put an end to an on-going terrorist threat that was occurring. Osama was in Pakistan, which is considerably smaller than Iraq, if you know your geography. Bush said "If I cant find Osama, where should I look?" Well, for starters, he looked off of the intelligence that they received, which by the way was the same intelligence that Kerry looked off of. Kerry said "go ahead" (which was before he voted against it.) So we went into Iraq with UN inspectors. We asked Saddam 3 times: "Do you have weapons of mass destruction?" He said "no" all three times. We ended up finding mortar shells...I mean, it wasnt Hiroshima-type evidence of bombs but it was evidence notheless.
And do you know what angers me the most? The news stations, particularly ABC, NBC, CBS, and don’t forget CNN (or Clinton News Network, if you will) never show any of the positive outcomes of the war. They never show all of the women who can show their faces now, that can wear jeans...they dont talk about how the women and children aren't murdered and raped any longer. And people actually want to vote for a man that consults a country, like France, for permission to go to war?!? What the heck??So I end with still wondering what it is about Kerry that would make anyone want to vote for him. Also, while you're straining your brain and really asking yourself "Why am I voting for this guy?" also answer this other question for me: What did Kerry stand for in the senate for the past 20 years?".....jeopardy music...(humming)...oh you give up? Yeah that was a trick question…nobody knows.

P.S. Kerry has not one black person on his ticket or campaign, yet he goes to black caucuses and churches saying, “you were disenfranchised before, but you will be disenfranchised no longer!” Yeah okay…
