EDWARDS HOBBLES AWKWARDLY OUT FROM BEHIND WOODSHED

A few debate notes...

- Cheney is on message, on target... between-the-eye rebuttals to Edwards' weak left-wing yelling points...

- People will say "Cheney should be pres" tomorrow... (have they never seen BUSH unscripted before?)

- Edwards is right ... the American people DO "see it on the TV everyday" - we know what we're being shown in Iraq... it's HORRIBLE. So is the biased media that's showing it to us Senator.

- Why isn't Halliburton being addressed by the VP? Perhaps this is a better strategy? Don't dignify?

- Edwards keeps pressing Halliburton... DC is going to HAVE to address the no-bid contract crap... opportunity to put that BS to rest forever.

- VP points to www.factcheck.com to clear up Halliburton mess... site's down w/in two seconds - no surprise... they'll have to buy a few more servers @ FC.

- Edwards is starting to channel the suicide bombing victims from the Sbarro Pizza massacre... he's really laying it on... ambulance chasing sure honed his BS skills...

- Senator Gone. This is getting good. If Bush were half this good at debating, there would BE no Kerry/Edwards '04

- Chalk one up for Edwards with a littany of ostensibly bad votes on the behalf of DC... no response. Edwards' Senate record is as shallow and weak as standing water in a parking lot, but you should've defended your own record DC. Or could you?
