49 STATE LANDSLIDE ELECTION CONTESTING

PTD COMMENT > Don't believe the hype. The election will probably be close... but two things are certain: the election will be a mess, and will be heavily litigated. If Bush were to landslide Kerry in Modalesque style, Kerry's lawyers would still contest the election. We're not really going out on a limb by saying this. It's just the nature of Democrats.

IF Bush wins, does anyone truly believe that Kerry's legal team will quietly go back to ambulance chasing? There will be a fight. The size of the victory margin won't matter. That is, again, if Bush wins.

If he loses, he'll return to Texas to clear brush. And we'll miss a president to whom political power is not paramount.
